10 Keys to Healing and Vitality – Introduction


Living with pain and the limitations that come with it can hinder you in many activities in your daily life. You suffer from it in your work, in your relationships, with sports and in other leisure activities. Basically, anything that gives you pleasure and happiness.

  • Everyone I treat has suffered from pain and limitations in his/her own personal way. It is not easy to do your ‘normal’ things, to ‘just’ participate and, above all, to keep doing it.

    But you already knew this. With the herbal treatments at the beginning of the treatment process, we have strengthened your body’s ability to recover. But not only that. The blockages at the deepest level of your energy that have caused your pain complaints have also been removed. You can see it as a cleaning process. The first phase of that process took approximately 7 weeks. This clears the way to build your personal and physical strength to an optimal level.

    With the herbs and subsequent treatments, space is created and strength released to enable healing in a natural way. In this way, change can take place on a physical level for regeneration of damaged tissue.

    The basis of healing is energy.

    You need energy in your body for healing. Not only sufficient ‘basic energy’ to get through the day, but also a ‘surplus’ of energy. I call this surplus your ‘vitality’. Because your body can heal itself, if it is not hindered and is vital. You can achieve vitality if you take care of a number of essential elements.

    It is therefore important to build up your energy and vitality. I do this with the treatments and guiding the recovery process. I ask you to take the necessary personal action. So I need you to ensure good results! Because this is how we work together on your health.


    You build vitality by:


    *      Building energy:

            You need energy to recover in the form of your own body’s recovery capacity.

    *      Saving energy:

            Become aware of where your energy leaks are so that you can ‘close’ them.

    *      Removing all blockages:

            So that your healing, building up of energy and vitality takes place unhindered.

    You create vitality by making optimal use of the energy generated in your own body (your healing power) and making maximum use of the available space you need for this (your healing ability).


    New habits replace old habits

    As I said before: healing is possible if there are no obstacles and you have sufficient energy available, i.e. if you are vital. It is therefore important to recognize the obstacles. Otherwise, you can’t change them. The next step is to substitute an ’empowering resource’ for the barrier.

    Example 1:

    For example, if you want to quit smoking, it is not very effective to keep telling yourself: ‘I shouldn’t smoke, I shouldn’t smoke.’ First of all, because all your energy and attention goes to smoking when you say or think so. Your brain does not know the word ‘not’. Just DON’T think about a pink elephant. You immediately think of a pink elephant. Because that’s where your attention goes. Where your attention goes, that’s where your energy goes too. So that doesn’t work.

    What can work is to direct your focus to something completely different, e.g. a blue car.

    This is also the case with quitting smoking.

    If you keep focusing on ‘quitting smoking’, where are you spending all your attention and energy? Exactly: smoking. In the case of ‘not smoking’ it is better to focus (= direct your attention) on, for example: ‘I want to breathe healthily again and absorb as much oxygen from the air as possible’. You can make it even stronger by saying to yourself, for example: ‘I want to surround myself with people who have a healthy lifestyle.’ This way you take the attention away from the habit of ‘smoking’ and put ‘healthy living’ in its place.

    In this way you put new, empowering habits in place of old, hindering habits.


    Example 2:

    There are many foods that have a hindering (sometimes even destructive) effect on your recovery process. I’ve mentioned red meat before. I advise you to avoid red meat. Then it is essential to substitute red meat for something. For example, fish, poultry or vegetarian food.

    Where do these keys come from?

    In my own recovery process I have read, learned, discovered and, above all, done a lot. I have experienced what does not work, what does work and created a program from that. It took me about 15 years to do that. So use that to your advantage!

    The personal approach appears to yield much better results than treatments that work ‘for everyone’. In practice, I can only achieve desired results with ‘customization’.
